JUMANJI, THE NEXT LEVEL Review
Like its forerunner, Jumanji, the next level is a mix of action, fantasy, and adventure with a good touch of comedy and romance. This sequel has some solid lessons regarding friendship, courage, and empathy. The whole story is good, and the cast did a great job of showcasing low-key race and gender fluidity. Jumanji, the next level, a highly promising sequel to 2017’s Jumanji welcome to the jungle and a second dig into 1995’s Jumanji, is totally worth watching. The prequel’s famous quartet and the addition of new witty characters made the casting of Next Level immaculate and gave no reason not to watch a movie with a cast like that.
One of the catchiest parts was seeing the comedy goal achieved through such a good cast, and Black and Hart’s depiction of various characters is also an example of fine acting.
At some points, you might think that movie is a repeat of Welcome to The Jungle. Still, there are a lot of new surprises, twists, and new faces involving Danny DeVito as spencer’s grouchy grandfather Eddie, and Danny Glover as Eddie’s alienate partner from the business.
The movie also does a crow-pleasing job of expanding the adventures of Jumanji beyond Just the jungle.
